Monkeying around as a kid was one of our go-to escapism “I’m going for it!”
But eventually, we would each set off on our own adventures after becoming a teen. Each ending up on a separate island.
We found ourselves on the Nowhere Islands, they however ended up on the island of Sinnoh.
One is struck by tragedy after tragedy and must now learn to grow strong with their new allies.
The other happens upon an egg. Caring for it until it hatches into their fateful partner who would tackle any obstacles together.
Both would find some level of closure in their adventures. Closure that has led them to be more refined adults.
They had to quickly grasp the meaning and purpose of the Crest they held within their eye.
As they had to be prepared the impending wars one must engage in within one’s life.
Fighting is a last resort, please don’t force their hands, there has to be another way.

What’s on our mind now?
Even in losing we met in the middle, between childhood and adulthood. This portion of our life we treasured the most.
*sigh* Now we’re gonna get all sentimental. Honestly, wish we would have done more with that time.
Those we chose to emulate are characters we got rather attached to during our high school years.
Lucas, the kid from Nowhere.
Drifblim, our primary partner during our adventure through Sinnoh.
Kinda miss how extra quirky we were back then.
Felt like we could easily achieve that dream of moving to Japan and making Elementz an anime.
*laugh* If only we knew how the real world would crush those dreams.
*sigh* To say we were underprepared would be a massive understatement.
Yepyep~ But you live and you learn.
Of course… Lost quite a bit of that spark though.

*smile* Seriously, miss how we used to be. There was a time when we were just as hopefully optimistic as a whole.
Well, that was a shift to be expected, the more we learned about the world the more we, unfortunately, became jaded by it. Afterwards, you subjectively took that all on.
That’s how we decided to split ourselves back them. Now we have to live with that.
Maybe we should break those subjective barriers and balance things out.
That would just result in us becoming our true self. The best we can do is subjectively shuffle those traits.
True, but I wonder if that would truly be a bad thing if it were possible.
That would defeat the purpose of our duality. After all we were born as a coping mechanism for our life problems. That and we constantly try to challenge our own beliefs & mindsets in an attempt to remain as objective as possible.
That’s a wordy way of saying that even when protecting ourselves we want to try our best to approach life and ideals as critically as possible.
Yeah, we’re human after all.
Best not to get all caught up in ourselves less we make the same mistake we made as a teen.
Easy said than done. Guess we learnt something from Lucas’s trials. Like him, we also gained steadfastness to overcome the hardships that plague both our past and current life.
*sigh* Uh-huh and we also learnt something during our adventures through Sinnoh.

How not to constantly be excessively wordy in our explanation. What’s wrong with just saying “You live, you learn, you grow.”
*nods in disbelief* While being succinct, It lacks impact.

And there’s no need for that. We’ve overcome tougher obstacles. This will just be another to cross off the list.

There are limits to what we can accomplish in this world. But the possibilities are as endless as there are stars in the sky, each burning bright, many of which tell a story posthumously.
We have to make our mark in life so that we can inspire those who come after us.
We’ll try to live our lives to the fullest, and in doing so, we will hopefully bring out the potential within ourselves and those around us.
