Well, the site turned a year old two days ago, but we were busy with work to make this post then so here it is two days late.
We originally had the idea to make a site years before 2021 but for whatever reason, we just never got around to it. We knew we wanted a place to record and store the memories we cherished the most as well as a place to share our story ideas so we sat down and finally bought our small part of the internet.
It was a lot to learn but we were determined….sorta. Some days we’d spend hours updating the site and then for weeks or months on end we do nothing. We had also decided on a name which is the current name of the site but with held updating it since we didn’t know much about custom domain names. Unfortunately, while the initial site was under construction we were stuck with a dummy URL; uzl.nfe.mybluehost.me. However on the flipside transferring to our current domain didn’t break too much, mostly just images in posts.
Some things we didn’t like about this theme was it only had one column to the right, forced caps in certain areas, black uneditable background and didn’t have a lot of customization options. We love the theme but we knew that the change was for the best and that we’d have to re-edit most of the content of the site.
With that, this was when we started putting more money into the site with the first two non-site dependant purchases being the theme you see today and Elementor. We went back and started to re-edit and enhance the reading experiences for anyone who take time out to come and visit site for whatever reason. Due to this, the post in 2022 have been scarce as we are finishing up the revamp and adding/editting other things to the site.
The current theme gave us so much flexibility, we started incorporating more features and quality-of-life changes. We also set up multiple redundant backups on multiple different mediums to ensure that if anything goes wrong with the site or the site is shutdown for whatever reason, these files can be used to recreate the site to be viewed in some fashion. This of course meant we put more money into the site but we didn’t mind. We’re passionate about this but not blinded as to buy everything that claims to make your site better.
The site has become more about our stories than our memories so when we finish the revamp of previous post and current story project we’ll get back to posting memories. We have a few good ones in mind, those being:

As well as new types of content alongside Meme-ory. Current idea(s) include:
SurTVee: Surtus taps into his Potential to share what he and the others are doing in Eligere Xi. He’ll also compare life there to earth life and even talk about/with those that are apart of his multiverse.
The Revival of Nostalgia Media Preservation: We have quite a few video tapes and DVD we recorded well over a decade ago and want to share here. Sadly we can’t share them the way we originally thought via hosting them on our site so we are going to finally find a solution and possibly commentate on the Media in question.
Well here’s hoping the site will get better in the coming months mostly for us as the is more of a personal site that only we’d be interested in.
