Life:
Well, we finally did it. In order to avoid paying more overweight/oversized fees, we opted not to fly to Hokkaido but took an additional 15+ hours. For what it was worth it was a look and arduous learning experience that required my Japanese ability in a practical manner.
Found our way around the area fairly quickly as we had about two weeks of downtime in essentially what is a village town. Compared to bigger cities, there was less to do at the time so we eventually just spent our time indoors at a cheap lodge before moving to our recently cleaned lodge.
This job now requires our brain over our mindless manual labor brawn. Still struggle a bit to grasp everything but we think we’ll be fine in the end.
Writing:
All writing is still on hiatus due to our desktop being in storage until we get our own apartment. as we are going to move again after this and don’t want to dismantle or damage the mobo during transport.
Gaming:
Didn’t have time to game much at all this month. Also paid $35 to attempt to play Splatoon on the plane but go figure a P2P game won’t find any other players 40,000ft in the air.
Won’t be able to play things like FF14 until next spring. Also didn’t get to pick up Tactica and Mario Wonder yet as that requires a trip to Sapporo. Still need to get a phone as well

We are going to retire these updates after December to our Journal as they often have similar data but here it’s less personal. It will just be replaced with actual posts/updates whenever they come and not on a monthly basis.
